Tiny baby bloodroot leaves - the seeds get carried and planted by ants, so I've little bloodroots popping up in odd spots all over my yard.

Baby shooting star seeds sprouting!  My attempt at winter sowing, where you plant native seeds that need cold stratification in soda bottles, plastic milk jugs, or other greenhouses, and just leave them outside all winter so they can get the cold temps they need.  Worked like a charm!  I've tried to plant them before and they got flooded by rain or dug up by squirrels - the seeds are the size of dust. The soda bottle greenhouse keeps them safe while they're still tiny
